Social Responsibility

BLUE CAP COLLECTION CAMPAIGN

We have commenced “Blue Cap Collection Campaign” being the first step of our Social Responsibility Projects as Bantaş.

All the income to be obtained by recycling of caps collected in this campaign that we conduct with The Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey shall revive those waiting to meet their battery-operated or manual wheelchair. We shall ensure with one plastic cap that a person having orthopaedic disability move alone, he/she can go wherever he/she wants freely, can shop, roam, and discover the world that he/she lives.

We have started the “Blue Cap Collection Campaign” first in the General Directorate and Our İstanbul Cash Centres. Our target is to spread the campaign to all our branches and to make more disabled people happy.

How do caps transform into chair?

  • Caps delivered to The Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey are weighed and recorded with the communication information of the sender.
  • Caps separated from the foreign matters in it are weighed in the contractual recycling firm and delivered by being billed.
  • Obtained income is received by campaign account and purchases of battery-operated or manual wheelchairs for those who need are realized.
  • Delivery of wheelchairs are carried out with the criteria and delivery of documents determined by TOFD.

BANTAŞ , DOWN’S SYNDROME PROJECT

By cooperation with Down’s Syndrome Association, Mert Kızıltepe, started working at the Human Resources Department and Bantaş became one of the first 3 companies which have employed young people with Down’s Syndrome in Turkey.

Before Mert started his duty at the General Directorate Human Resources Department, the trainers of the Association Fulya Ekmen (Deputy Chairman of the Association) and Psychologist Selver Yolsever delivered Bantaş employees trainings on titles such as “What’s Down’s Syndrome? What Will We Be Experiencing While Working with People with Down’s Syndrome?”.

BANTAŞ PROJECT FOR LIFE WITHOUT DISABILITIES

“Project for Life without Disabilities” which appeared to make disabled persons join life and working life was realized upon the participation of Rezzan and Zeliha Işık sisters, who are hearing-impaired and national athletes at the same time in Bantaş family in Bantaş Document Management System Centre. Rezzan Işık gave a break to her working life after 1 year duty as she entered the University. And Zeliha Işık still continues her position at Bantaş as well as her sports life.
